I am a geriatric clinical social worker with a specialization in geriatric psychiatry. Since 2018, I have maintained a private practice serving the psychiatric needs of older adults and their families. My work includes helping people who experience behavioral challenges related to cognitive issues such as dementia, mood disorders like depression or anxiety, and psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia.
In addition to therapy, I also provide care management services, working with families and professionals to problem-solve particularly difficult cases. These often involve placement decisions for older adults with significant challenges, guardianship proceedings, and accessing appropriate medical treatment.
I am a graduate of the University of Chicago and lecture at institutions such as Columbia University and Fordham University. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy writing, playing music, and volunteering with the Humane Society of Westchester.
